Black, White and Denim

So I finally managed to add the follow gadget onto my blog! How ridiculous am I? Seriously, every time I tried to edit my layout and find the stupid thing I never managed to spot it. Thankfully the stressful ordeal is over and I now you amazing loyal citizens of the world can bow down and follow my every move. Which so far is one person (lol) Shoutout to Coco Cami, you have given me hope for the future!

Dirty shoes, sorry.

I've had my eye on this long denim skirt from Asos for a while now, so I'm so glad I finally have it in my life. Its literally so strange how tastes and fashions change! I would of absolutely despised it a few years back, probably associating it with something unfashionable mothers or my decrepit primary school teacher would wear back in the day. I usually repel from midi skirts and dresses, as I feel they aren't very flattering on me, as they make me look unfortunately short unless wearing exceptionally high heels due to the cankle situation :(, but I'm trying to explore different styles and get out of my comfort zone or whatever. I'll tell you how this goes. Okay, onto the next item: the swimming suit. Yes, it is a swimming suit and not a body, how daring. I love the idea of wearing swimming suits and bikinis as tops are they vary and have such interesting designs. For example this fringed suit from Asos, and this pretty design from Motel both work really well in place of a top or plunging body, and are just more unique than more conventional designs.

I heard that leather is coming back hard onto the runways for AW/14, but like, does leather ever go out of style? I feel like it's pretty timeless, and whether it be real leather or faux like mine, a black jacket is an essential part of any girls (or boys) wardrobe, coordinating well with outfits throughout the year. I can't believe what an amazing deal I scored when buying my jacket from the H&M website. I think it was originally about £35, but was reduced to £20. I then applied some promo code and I managed to get the price down to £11, and it has been my best friend ever since. YAAS.
